Required Tournaments
Each year, Travel teams attend 2 Tournaments:
- Spring: Amherst Memorial Day Tournament
- This is a fantastic time for all of our teams to compete against other travel and elite teams in various divisions. It takes place on Memorial Day weekend each year - keep the entire weekend clear!
- Our Fall tournament takes place on the holiday weekend in Oct. The exact tournament is decided by the league at that time. The tournament is a great opportunity for some late Fall soccer! Finish out your season strong and show how you've grown as a player and a team!
Both of these tournaments offer opportunities to compete:
- At the Travel Division level against other NH travel teams
- At the Elite or Competitive level against other New England Elite Teams
Coaches will select the appropriate level for their team to compete at, in conjunction with NYSL Travel administration.
Optional Tournaments
Each year, there are optional tournaments that are available for a motivated coach and team to attend. The best philosophy is to attend an early season tournament to prepare for the season, and a late season competitive tournament to showcase how you've grown.
Some tournaments may require additional entry fees that are not covered by the NYSL travel registration. Please work with your coach and NYSL staff to determine the best course of action.
Motivated parents may recommend their own events as well. Let us know and we will list it here!

Events
Year round, NYSL will notify about additional events for players and teams. These are great team-building and experience building events in various locations.

- This is a fun event, but requires some work from the team - organizing tail gating.
